Restore Humanity's Current Projects

Kenya Orphanage
These impoverished children need love and a chance to better their circumstances. With no one to care for them they will never be educated, thus continuing the cycle of poverty. Given the love and support they need they could grow up to change the face of Kenya.

Masizame Children's Center
The Masizame Children's Shelter was started with a focus on the street child, but they have expanded their vision to reach the high-risk child through offering preventative and outreach services.

Hospice Knysna
As a NPO the mission of this Hospice is to, without discrimination, serve the community and its surroundings by providing first class holistic home based care to the terminally ill, especially those suffering from AIDS, and their families, prior to and during the bereavement period. It is also committed to the implementation of training and projects to enhance the ICHC program. This includes development of care for staff/volunteers, the mentoring of other health workers, networking collaborating with and building capacity with other relevant organizations.

Youth HIV Support Group
Many of the children in the HIV Support Group are HIV positive themselves (from birth) or someone in their family is HIV positive. This group provides them with the crucial emotional support that they need.

Klapmuts Township
Seeing the townships of Cape Town really shocked me. I thought that I had some grasp of poverty, but I had no idea. As we pulled up to the house of a man named Yellow and his wife Pasqueline, I looked to the right and couldn’t believe my eyes. What I saw was a squatter camp, which is the poorest of the poor areas. People have built some semblances of shelter from whatever materials they could find. There is no water, no electricity, and no plumbing.
Projects in the Making
School in Jamaica
The town of Negril, Jamaica is known by most of the world as a vacation haven. With it’s seven mile white sand beach and crystal clear water it seems like a dream. However, to the majority of the local people living there it is more like a nightmare. The level of poverty in Jamaica is vast and with the economy being almost completely controlled by foreign money, Jamaica is at a standstill.
